COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
E-recycling at Monroe Elementary: During Earth Week (April 15-22) we will be helping sustainably recycle/dispose of electronic devices from our community, through a school drop-off program. This is our second year of the drive and the way it works is to drop off any electronics that you would like to get rid of/recycle to Sheila Iverson in the front office – 3615 W. Cassia Street. This is a great way to safely dispose of old electronics, and make sure those valuable metals and minerals get recovered.
Food Truck: Julie will be here sorting and handing out food to our neighbors in need April 29th at 5:30 PM! Include this experience in your calendar and enlist your family and neighbors to help out!
