MINISTRY MEMOS:
Recharge Day: Bishop Jos will be at All Saint’s on October 6. So on October 5th, we’ll be working on fall clean-up: this includes inside, as well as, outside work. Some tasks can be done anytime during the week: weed the flower gardens, brush off spider webs on doors (the little fellows love our windows), vacuum narthex, church, & chapel, sweep hallways & bathrooms, and of course, dust! The Scouts are helping and after lunch need a group of people to help clean the parish hall and put on banquet table cloths. This will be at 1 PM and should take no more than an hour.
St. Francis Blessing of the Animals: Bring your pet or a picture of them to our front porch on October 3rd, at 6:30 P.M and we’ll have a brief service, then bless all of the pets.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
Coffee and Conversation: This month’s get-together will be held at Black Moon Pastries & Pizza, 3709 W Chinden Blvd (enter off of 37th Street) at 11:00 AM on October 5th. Join us for beverages and lovely pastries!
CROP Hunger: The annual walk will be held on Oct 13th. This is a fundraising activity that benefits the Idaho Food Bank locally and the Church World Service globally. All Saints has participated in this activity for over 20 years. Contact Julie Walker if you would like to walk with her and/or solicit donations. If you would like to make a donation online, go to 2024 Crop Walk: in the upper right corner, select donate/find a participant & enter Julie Walker/donate.
Ronald McDonald House: Is anyone interested in making stuffed toys and/or cute pillowcases for Ronald McDonald house here in Boise? If so, contact Donna Groth after the Sunday 8:00 AM service or let the office know!
BOISE BENCH & BEYOND:
Popcorn: Cub Scout Pack 123 will be taking orders for popcorn on September 29th after both services at All Saints. Proceeds from these sales help our Scouts pay their yearly dues and go on their many adventures!
Food Truck: Please join Julie in sorting and handing out food Monday, September 30th, at 5:30 PM. The cooler weather will bring out more families by, so please consider giving an hour of your time.
Free Community Meal: Our next monthly meal will be on October 4th at 5:00 P.M. To volunteer, please check out our sign-up: https://allsaintsboise.org/worship-and-community/sign-ups/.
Artisan Sale: October 4 & 5 from 11-5, in the garden at 6120 N. Drake Way, Garden City, will be the annual sale of leaf sculptures, totes, bags, jewelry, prints, and more!
