MINISTRY MEMOS:
Nametag: If you are wanting a nametag (or in need of a new one), please let Nicole know and she’ll get that made for you!
Food Donations: Our food pantry cart is in dire need of these products: canned tuna, rice, peanut butter. Other shelf-stable items are welcome: soups, canned vegetables or fruits (pop-top cans are best, as not everyone has a can opener), pasta, crackers, spaghetti sauce, toilet paper, paper towels.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
Ladies Who Lunch: Third Thursday, Feb. 20th, is coming up quickly – be sure to keep your calendar open at 1:00 to join us! This month we’ll be dining at Sushi Joy Asian Cuisine, 2275 W. Main Street.
Documentary: Christina Cernansky will be showing 1946 The Movie at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 23rd, in the parish hall. This is a feature documentary that follows the story of tireless researchers who trace the origins of the anti-gay movement among Christians to a grave mistranslation of the Bible in 1946.
Social Justice: The donation drive for February in the narthex is for Interfaith Sanctuary for hats, gloves, and winter socks.
BOISE BENCH & BEYOND:
Spaghetti Luncheon: Boy Scout Troop 123 will be serving up special spaghetti on February 22nd, from 11 – 1 in our parish hall! $5/person – spread the word and come on by!
SW Deanery: A softball team is being formed! Anyone 14 and over are welcome to join – if you are interested, please email Nicole in the office and she’ll get all of the info to you!
Potica Bread Class: Liz is up for doing another Potica baking class! Wednesday, February 26th, from 11 – 1, in our parish hall. Please invite anyone you know who loves to bake and let Nicole in the office know your head count by Thursday, Feb. 20.
