Jazz in the Park Concert: It’s back again this year at Heroes Park in Meridian. The event is on Friday, June 2nd and will begin at 6:00 PM. It’s a free concert and we’d love to have a supportive audience to send us off into summer.
Sundays 9:00 A.M. Class: “What’s Love Got to Do with It: Augustine’s Account of the Trinity”: For one Sunday only (Trinity Sunday, June 4!) at 9:00ish am in the parish hall, come learn about the Trinity through the lens of St Augustine, Bishop of Hippo who lived from 354-430. Come and learn about the Trinity, and answer the question: “What’s love got to do with it?” (With apologies to the late, great Tina Turner.)
Choral Evensong: Join us June 4th at 4 P.M. as the Cathedral Choir sings the traditional Anglican service of Choral Evensong, a beautiful service of lessons, anthems, and prayers. A reception will follow in the Nativity transept.
