April 6, 2023 Snapshot

April Friendship Meal:  We will welcome our neighbors on Good Friday, April 7th, at 5:00 P.M. The menu for our April meal will be oven fried chicken, homemade macaroni & cheese, and green beans.  We will begin cooking at 3:00 and would love to have help in the kitchen.  If you have time between 3:00 – 5:00 please come to the kitchen and we will give you a task!  If you aren’t available to volunteer, please consider participating by donating ingredients. You can find the list here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0a4aaeac2ea5fc1-friendship#/.

ASE Walking Group:  Our first walk will be Tuesday, April 11th at 10:00 A.M.  We will meet at Kleiner Park in Meridian. It is a very nice park on the east side of The Village Shopping Center at Eagle and Fairview. We will meet at the Senior Center.  Add to your calendar that our second walk will be Thursday, April 13th at 10:00 A.M.  We will meet at Kathryn Albertson Park. Most of the returning walkers have walked together there and know where to meet.

Agency for New Americans:  Our Agency is preparing to welcome more than 60 new Americans in the month of March, which will greatly strain our limited donations. We need your help getting our storage units FULL to provide new Americans with essential items!  Please look over our donation bundles and Amazon wish list here:  http://www.anaidaho.org/spring-cleaning-donation-drive.html.
