ASE Walkers:  The Kathryn Albertson Park group is going to meet tomorrow morning, May 12th, at 10:00. I have a request for anyone in West Boise who would like to walk in that area. They are open on what day they walk. Anyone want to walk/hike in the foothills? They are flexible on day, even weekend days. Contact Ron Harris if interested in joining.

Recharge Day:  Plan on joining us on May 13th from 9-1 to help on those projects that keep our building maintained and make our property pleasing for our neighborhood. Please bring your gloves and lawn tools.  We’ll feed you for your efforts!  Chat with Barb Tool if you have any questions. Thank you to those of you who have already come by and

Car Wash:  The 6th grade class at Monroe Elementary will be having a car wash in our parking lot right after Recharge Day finishes up to get them to a party at Wahooz, so stick around and get your car ready for summer while supporting our young neighbors!

Ladies Who Lunch:  Our luncheon ladies meet on the Third Thursday of each month at 1:00 P.M.  This May 18th will find them at The Refuge, 404 E Parkcenter Blvd, #300.  Please RSVP to Stephanie Elder if you’d like to join.  There has been a wonderful turnout and she needs to be sure to have a place for everyone!

Unplug and be Outside:  Meridian Parks & Recreation are excited to offer a week’s (May 13-20) worth of free activities in sports, arts and recreation for all ages to get you connected. Adults, youth and families will all find something fun in our schedule. 1st Annual Car Show:  Our first annual car show will be held Saturday, May 20th, from 10-2!  This event is free for spectators, so please stop by and show our participants some appreciation.  There will be food trucks, a touch-a-truck experience at noon, and you can vote for your favorite vehicle, as well!
