Creation Care:  We will be laying down our cardboard and bark from 9-12 on Saturday, May 6th.  We are in need of volunteers to help; please bring your gloves, shovels, and leaf rakes.  And dress for the weather!  The more helpers, the quicker we’ll be done.

Coffee & Conversation:  Join us on Saturday, May 6th, at 11:00 A.M. at the Albertson’s at 1219 S Broadway Avenue, for some witty chitchat and your favorite thirst-quencher!

Coronation Liturgy:  “How Do You Crown a King? A Look at the Coronation Liturgy”, on Saturday, May 6th, Charles III will be crowned as King of the United Kingdom. The service itself is conducted as part of a worship service in the Church of England. Let’s take a look at the parts of the service at 9:05 A.M. on Sunday, May 7th in the parish hall!

Mental Health Training:  Free Youth & Adult Mental Health First Aid Training.  Date: Youth, Friday May 12th 2023 & Adults is May 19th; Time: 8:30am – 2:30pm (Mountain Time) – There will be breaks and 30 min lunch; Location: Risen Christ Catholic Church – 11511 W Lake Hazel Road; Deadline to register: Monday May 8th, 2023 – Youth: https://forms.office.com/r/Zz35d4C2Sk, Adult: https://forms.office.com/r/S235YaF8TM.

Recharge Day:  Plan on joining us on May 13th from 9-1 to help on those projects that keep our building maintained and make our property pleasing for our neighborhood. Please bring your gloves and lawn tools.  We’ll feed you for your efforts!  Chat with Barb Tool if you have any questions.

Car Wash:  The 6th grade class at Monroe Elementary will be having a car wash to get them to a party at Wahooz in our parking lot right after Recharge Day finishes up, so stick around and get your car ready for summer while supporting our young neighbors!

Pentecost is coming!:  Be sure to wear red on May 28th!

Green Team:  The mowing schedule is set up for spring through fall and can be located here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4AAEAC2EA5FC1-green.  A reminder that if you want our resident mower, Rex Sayer, to mow, please note it on the sign up, write a check made out to him for $90.00, and the office will mail it to him.
