December 21, 2023 Snapshot

The Longest Night – A Service for the Weary: Today, December 21st, is the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice. Sometimes the festivity surrounding the Advent and Christmas seasons does not match the weariness in our hearts – challenges in our own lives, pain and heartbreak in the world around us. All Saints Episcopal Church is joining with Redeemer Lutheran Church for a contemplative service to let our weary hearts, bodies, and spirits rest at 7 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church (2920 Cassia St, Boise). Simple music, prayers, and readings will give us a place to let us care for ourselves and one another.

Office Closure:  Our office will be closed from December 25th – January 1st.  If you are in need of pastoral care, please leave a message on Fr. Joseph’s emergency message phone at 208-917-2270.
