March 21, 2024 Snapshot


Creation Care:  We are back in the cardboard business as we plan to expand the Pollinator Park this spring and summer!  Please place your cardboard boxes in the cardboard collection container that is on concrete slab outside the North entrance.

Recharge Day:  Spring has sprung and Recharge Day has been set! Be here on April 6th at 9:00 AM with your energy!  We have plenty of items here, but please bring any spare gloves, rakes, shovels, and cleaning supplies that you may have.

Green Team:  Yep! It’s time to sign up for your favorite activity! Get the best dates before they’re gone:


Easter Egg Hunt:  We will be hosting our annual egg hunt on Easter Day and are in need of filling items!  Please bring wrapped candies, small erasers, stickers, quarters, etc. (all items need to be individual or individually wrapped) into the office by Thursday, March 28th.  If you have time to fill eggs on March 30th, please let Lucy Groves know!

Nutrition Class:  Our own dietitian, Julie Walker, will be presenting a class on nutrition Wednesday, April 10th, at 6:30 P.M. in the youth room. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex or you can email the office.  Don’t miss it!

Boise Flower and Garden Show:   This show is the perfect kick off to spring with everything you need to make your yard and garden beautiful!  Fri, Mar 22, 2024 – Sun, Mar 24, 2024 – 10am – 4pm at the Boise Centre, 850 W. Front Street.

Idaho Steelheads:  Our hockey team is at home this weekend playing the Tulsa Oilers both Friday and Saturday at the Idaho Central Arena.

FIRST Robotics Regional Competition:  Kids and families come watch this exciting game and take a walk through the pits to see up close the many creative solutions students have come up with for this year’s challenge! The event is free and open to the public – it takes place from March 21-23, 2024 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, ID.

Women’s History Month:  During March, you can find several events to celebrate the women of our nation.


The Marie Blanchard Friendship Clinic:  All Saints Episcopal Church houses this non-profit that for 20 years has been quietly saving lives and restoring health to Idaho adults who are uninsured or under-insured.  Highly skilled and dedicated professionals including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, mental health counselors, social workers, nutrition counselors, physical therapists, and other members of the community volunteer their time and services.
