All Saints Merch:  Get your order in by April 30th!!  All of the items are embroidered to boost the quality and take advantage of our bright colorful logo!  How this company works: items ship after the fundraiser closes. They’ll ship to the church office or directly to the purchaser (depending on what each buyer chooses). If you need help ordering, you can always stop in the office and Nicole will help you!  These will be perfect for volunteers and leaders at our car show, Vacation Bible School, Pride, Holiday Bazaar, Trunk or Treat, and other events that we participate in!  https://www.customink.com/fundraising/all-saints-share-the-love-of-god-and-neighbor?utm_campaign=desktop-post-launch-v3&utm_content=all-saints-share-the-love-of-god-and-neighbor&utm_medium=social&utm_source=copy-link.

COMPASSIONATE CARE COMMITTEE:

Tips on Taking Blood Pressure:  Very occasionally hypertension can be misdiagnosed.  On your next visit to your physician if your blood pressure reading seems too high, ask the nurse to recheck it in 5-10 minutes.  (Just the walk from the reception area to the patient room can elevate your B/P.)  Here are a few tips you might consider when taking your B/P.

  • Take in the A.M., if possible, before you eat or drink coffee
  • Sphygmomanometer should always be at heart level
  • Do not cross your legs
  • Monitor your B/P at least 3 times before recording
  • Do not check B/P with a full bladder
  • Take a deep breath, relax your body, and you’re ready to go
