The Longest Night Service: An ecumenical service of wholeness and contemplative prayer for Advent will take place on December 21st at 7:00 P.M. in the Sanctuary of Whitney United Methodist Church, 3315 W. Overland Road.
Christmas Lessons and Carols: Please join us at St. Michael’s Cathedral on Sunday, January 4 at 5:00 P.M. for a Festival of Lessons and Carols. This service, beloved within the Anglican tradition, tells the Christmas story through Scripture readings that situate Christmas within the broader story of God’s saving work. Carols, sung by the choir and the congregation, respond to the readings and reflect upon the narrative. All are welcome!
DID YOU KNOW?
Choir: Music ministry has choir practices every Sunday at 9 A.M. and sings an offertory twice a month. Music connects spirit to God whether singing or listening and it brings people together. Don’t be scared! Even if you don’t read music, come and “Make a Joyful Noise”! Connect with Shauna to give it a try.
