MINISTRY MEMOS:
As we gear up for Annual Meeting on January 25 (and a friendly reminder to finish your reports if you’re submitting one!), let’s take time to reflect on our mission and ministry as a community. This short survey will ask three simple questions: What do you think All Saints does well? What do you think All Saints offers to the Boise Bench community? What do you think the mission of All Saints is? Take your time – we will collect responses and use them to guide our parish conversation at Annual Meeting. Here’s the link when you’re ready: https://forms.gle/TRyKzQQVwtMUyx2ZA. (We will also have paper copies at church if you want to write down your thoughts by hand.) Please get your responses into the church by Sunday, January 18.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:
Ladies Who Lunch: Meet us at Ram Restaurant & Brewery, 709 E. Park Blvd. on January 15th at 1:00 P.M. to dine & chitchat about the upcoming year!
Paradise Point Camp: All Saints Camp Scholarship applications must be turned into the office by the end of April. Families should first register with Paradise Point Camp on the camp website (https://www.paradisepointcamp.org/). The camp also offers scholarships, and we encourage everyone to apply for those as well during the registration process, and some of those scholarships will be awarded during the registration process. After registering, please submit a copy of your registration confirmation to the All Saints office along with this application. It is our policy to meet the remaining cost of camp (cost of camp minus camp-administered scholarships and deposits) to ensure that everyone can go to camp; if you want to apply for only a partial scholarship, please note that on this application.
BOISE BENCH & BEYOND:
Scouting America: On Tuesday, January 27th, Scouting America Family Troop 123 is having a Family Information Night in the All Saints parish hall. We are inviting families of 11- 18 year olds (boys and girls) to learn all about Troop 123, our program year, calendar of events, and how Scouting can help your family. Fun, games, and a dessert will be offered.
NAMI Smarts for Advocacy: Register today with www.namiidaho.org for a hands-on training program that will teach people how to be effective advocators and influence mental health policies. All three are free and virtual!
CLERGY COMMUNICATION:
This is a quick reminder that Fr. Joseph will NEVER email, text, or leave you a voicemail asking for money. If our All Saints All Stars tree is up in the narthex, it will have physical tags with specific items being requested (paper, stamps, labels, etc.). Our directory is only emailed, when requested, to emails that Nicole already has on file. It is NOT published publicly nor mass emailed.
INTERACTION INFO:
Fr. Joseph’s contact: For urgent situations outside of office hours, please call or text him at 208-917-2270. Please leave a message with your name, a call-back number, and a detailed message and he will get back to you as soon as he can. Emails are generally answered when he is in the office.
Our Sunday bulletin can be found here. If you can’t be here in person, we stream our services on YouTube and Facebook.
Wondering what’s happening around the church? Click here to find our on-line calendar! If you open the event, it will tell you the time, location, and who’s putting it on. Send an email to Nicole if you’d like something added!
