August 20, 2026 Snapshot

MINISTRY MEMOS:

Monthly Food Truck:  August 31st at 5:30 P.M., Julie will be here to sort and hand out food that has been donated by Boise Co-Op & Whole Foods – she’d be grateful for your company & help! Be sure to share this info to get the word out!

Free Community Meal:  Friday, September 4th, is our next meal. We are in need of volunteers to help clean up and run the dishwasher. Many hands make light work!

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS:

Craft & Chat:  Every Thursday morning, a group meets at All Saints to do some crafts! If you love to create or have always wanted to learn how products are fashioned, swing by at 10:00 A.M.!

St. Vincent de Paul:  During this time of the year, the food pantry runs low. Here’s a way to donate and have a fun time – purchase tickets win a private Skybox for Championship Night at the Caldwell Night Rodeo: https://www.svdpid.org/st-clares-pantry! And remember to bring non-perishables with you to All Saints for our pantry cart!

BOISE BENCH & BEYOND:

Laughter & Libations:  This is a fun afternoon of camaraderie that occurs once a month from June-Sept. Each location has food and NA beverages available. We begin arriving at 4 & stay until we’re done having fun – come by whenever is convenient for you. August 26th, we’ll meet at Gatsby, 280 N 8th, Ste. #130. See you there!

Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial Tours:  Join us each Saturday, September -October, from 11-1, for a free guided tour of the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial on the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights campus. Expert docents will be on hand to lead tours, answer questions, and explore the Memorial’s collection of monuments, quotes, and stories with you.

City Hall! The Mobile Market:  Every week, shoppers can pick up fresh, locally-sourced produce, proteins, and bread. All of the details can be found here: https://cityofgood.com/mobilemarket.

DID YOU KNOW?

As we gear up for the start of the fall program season, we want to invite folks to be aware of (and be invited to join!) all the different ministries at All Saints.

To start us off, let’s learn about Stewardship! This committee meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month. We discuss the pledge campaign, ways to say thank you to the congregation at various times of the year, how to increase visibility of All Saints in the neighborhood and what ministries are available for people to join. Most fulfilling is trying to figure out ways to engage the congregation in the All Saints community, with some success. Come with an open mind and ideas on how to sustain All Saints, engage more congregants and invite the wider community to join All Saints in celebrating God. Judy L.
