A BIT OF HISTORY:

Landscaping is the “icing on the cake” for a new building or any other building.  It is only temporary perfect.  First, it’s too young and takes time to mature.  Then, the perfect state; followed by determining when growth is too old and must be removed. Next is determining what to replace it with. Maintaining that landscape can be a struggle which has been true at All Saints.  These challenges included upkeep on the water system, keeping the pump working, removing dead brush, cutting down old trees, dealing with an almost too large an area, and much more.

While pouring through the old records, I found this picture of the first proposed landscaping.  It is my opinion that the plan was to keep the building visible and inviting.
